Welcome to Chef's Cabinet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chef's Cabinet mobile application (the "App") provided by Chef's Cabinet ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Chef's Cabinet is a personal recipe organizer that lets you save recipes from URLs you share with the App (for example, from food blogs, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, or Facebook) and store them in your own private cookbook. The App automatically reads the content of the page you share and extracts the recipe's ingredients and steps when available.
The App is free to use up to 10 saved recipes. Beyond that, a paid subscription is required to save additional recipes.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your payment method will be charged the then-current subscription price.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll keep Pro features until then.
Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) directly — we don't process payments, so we can't issue refunds ourselves. To request a refund:
We may change subscription prices in the future. If we do, we'll notify you before the change takes effect and give you a chance to cancel before being charged the new price.
"Your Content" means the recipes, notes, tags, photos, and URLs you save in the App. You retain full ownership of Your Content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for Your Content. Don't save anything you don't have the right to save. Recipes shared publicly (blogs, social media captions) are generally fine for personal use, but we don't warrant the copyright status of any content.

The App may display recipe content extracted from third-party websites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or legality of content from third-party sources. Follow recipes at your own discretion — particularly if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.
The App, including its design, code, logos, and features, is owned by Chef's Cabinet and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission, except for your personal use of the service.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Automatic recipe extraction may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Always review extracted recipes before cooking, especially for allergen and dietary information.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEF'S CABINET AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the App ends and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chef's Cabinet operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in the same jurisdiction, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court.
